The ICE Exhibit for the Miss and Little Miss Silver Spurs
The ICE Exhibit photo session for Miss and Little Miss Silver Spurs. The image will be published on the cover of the Silver Spurs Pageant program in February. Emily and Kyndall were great to work with, never once complained about how cold it was, it was only 9-degrees. I was worried about my equipment. But when you invest 8k in a camera you hope it will work in extreme conditions such as these. The only problems after being in the exhibit for 45-minutes my battery stopped working. I place my battery under my arm and jacket waited 5-mintues and continued the photo session. It was unique photo assignment to say the least. FYI: It took the Ice artist 30-days with 30-people with 2-tons of ice to put on this display and just think what it cost to keep it cool 24/7 at 9-degrees. It's truly is amazing to go see and it gets you in the Christmas spirit.
