The Urban Family on location!

Kim & Scott at their home--what better place can you be photographed for sentimental value? The reason for the photo session, Kolby was leaving for the University of West Florida. UWF is located in the panhandle of Fl, 8-hours away. Kolby is the first child in the Urban household to leave for college. Once reality hit his mother, she realized that their schedule as they now know it, was changing forever. So we created their family portrait for their Christmas cards before Kolby left for UWF. The Urbans are a very laid back family who love the outdoors, boating, pool, etc. So I thought why not capture their family with their shoes off along with their two dogs. Kim looks into his empty room often and thinks back about how quickly time has passed by. One less home for dinner each night, we often take those simple times for granted. Times change and you can preserve those moments in time and hold on to them each  time you look at their family portrait.
